A recorded version of my poems.

I'LL CATCH YOU!

Baby, I know our world is full of lies and deceit,
And sometimes it's hard to trust anyone,
I understand your heart has been severally broken,
And now it's hard to make a commitment,
Honey I really don't know how to say this,
But I sincerely feel your pain and sorrow,
And I'm willing to give you a brighter tomorrow,
And I don't mean this as a boastful claim,
But with me, you can leap before you look,
'Cos if you fall, I'll be there to catch you...

JUST ONE HALF II

Baby, when I close my eyes you are all I still see,
And I just want to know that somewhere in your heart is still a place for me,
Since you left me there has been within my soul a constant pain,
And you took with you my right to love again,
Honey, I really can't hold it back anymore,
So I'll just let my true feelings pour,
Truth is, my whole spirit lies in tatters,
And everyday I wish you would walk right through that door,
Take me back into your arms, plant a kiss on my lips and give me back your love on a platter,
For even though I don't deserve that love,
All I'm asking is one half of your heart...

YOU AND ME VS II

To what do I owe this painful plight,
To what do I owe these sorrowful nights,
Life without you is a perpetual misery,
And love to me is now a forgotten history,
I think I owe it to the day I let you out that door,
I think I owe it to the nights I made your soul sore,
I left you no other choice than to leave,
And now all I do is grief,
For my happiness is now like a guest, whose stay is so brief,
So baby I'm back to say I'm sorry,
For without you my life is filled with much worry,
And I can't survive another night without you,
Because when it comes to love, it's You and Me vs a broken heart,
And a broken heart lies between us, as long as our hearts are apart.

A BLURRED REALITY II

They came to us in a camouflaged identity, so sweet and captivating,
And we gave them our hearts without restrain,
They invaded the terrains of our minds with a dual personality, so deceptive and alluring,
And to them we pledged our allegiance,
But it turned out it was all a blurred reality!

We thought they had our interest at hearts,
But it turned out greed was at the center of their beings,
They promulgated a charismatic message on the podium,
And delivered a seductive performance on stage,
But in reality they treated us with an ironical image,
Thrusting us into a realm of confusion as to who they really are,
It turned their tongues and tales were a mirage,
It was a blurred reality!
