What more can I ask for when I have you in my life,
Who else would I desire, when you are my wife,
Baby, everyday with you is sweeter than the day before,
And life with you is like living in paradise, this is for sure,
Baby, you are perfect just the way you are,
And I like you just the way you are,
Truly speaking, if I was part of your creation,
I would not have changed anything,
Cos you are complete just the way you are,
I thank the almighty for your life,
I thank your mother for marrying your father,
And I'm grateful to your father for finding your mother,
You are the beautiful product of that divine union,
But most of all I am grateful to God for your creation,
Inwardly you are an embodiment of purity,
Outwardly, you're the epitome of beauty,
Honestly, honey if I was part of your creation,
I would not have altered anything,
Cos you are perfect just the way you are,
And I like you just the way you are,
So please don't go trying to change,
If any change at all, I think I need to change,
So that I can better handle the beauty that is you,
Cos you came already made, everything intact in you,
Please don't be deceived by people's opinion,
No doubt, you are a perfect creation,
A true definition of what beauty should be,
An exact replica of what perfection should be,
Truly, if I was part of your creation,
I would not rearrange a thing,
Cos you are perfect just the way you are,
And I love you just the way you are!

DOWN, BUT NOT OUT!
It was the championship of a an all important bout,
Between two good boxers, one huge and dark, the other fair and stout,
One was a veteran boxer, the other was an uprising star,
He was keen on winning this battle, which he thought would take him far,
In his career and life as a boxer,
The crowd was cheering and the screams getting louder,
Then the bell goes, and the match started,
In a twinkling of an eye, the stout boxer was punched to the ground, almost lifeless,
He seemed to have passed out, but as we looked on in apprehension, our snacks turning tasteless,
With the referee counting up to ten, this uprising boxer,
Leaped from the shock, and finished the rest of the match a winner,
As I watched him raise the belt on his right arm,
The crowd cheering from every arm,
Something struck me,
That boxer was down but not out!
And this is not different from life itself,
Sometimes as we strive to bring out the best in ourselves,
We are suddenly obstructed by insurmountable challenges,
Some of which leave us bleeding, and tied up in bandages,
But in the midst of these we have to realize that in life,
We sometimes may be down, but not necessarily out,
You may be down financially, but it doesn't mean you cannot be a lender tomorrow,
You are only down but not out!
Your dreams may be on the edge of a precipice and victory totally out of sight,
You are only down, but not out!
You may feel like you are down to the last and there lies no hope for the future,
Don't be dismayed- in your destiny still lies a very bright future,
So hold on, cos you are only down but not out!
You can always win if you get up and fight harder!
Peace.

SOMETIMES I FALL...
My vision is alive on my mind,
My purpose so strong, I can't leave behind,
To forfeit the vow and the covenant I can't afford,
So I strive to remain in one accord,
With my maker as He guides me through this world,
With the precepts of his unfailing word,
But in the midst of this journey,
I realize it is not always milk and honey,
Cos sometimes I fall,
But I pick myself up, dust myself and continue, standing tall,
Sometimes I am beaten to the ground,
And I feel like giving up, when I'm down to the ground,
But then I realize that in this race of life, falling down is part of the process,
But staying down is not-not at all a part of the process,
So sometimes I fall,
Sometimes I feel like giving up the call,
Sometimes I feel I am being caved in on by those walls,
Sometimes I feel like my world is crumbling down around me,
Sometimes I feel like the heavens are closed down on me,
But I don't quit,
Neither do I wilt,
I draw my courage from within, like a light,
And shove the past aside, as I strive for the future which is always bright,
'Cos I know that failure is never falling down,
But failure is always staying down,
Cos I realize that it is not how many times you fall,
But how many times you are able to rise, as you heed your maker's call
My purpose so strong, I can't leave behind,
To forfeit the vow and the covenant I can't afford,
So I strive to remain in one accord,
With my maker as He guides me through this world,

WHEN I LOOK IN YOUR EYES...
It's a feeling very deep, deep in your eyes,
Down from your soul, it springs, like an outpour from the skies,
A feeling that assures me we are meant for each other,
An assurance of destiny that tells me we belong together,
Baby, this is what I see when I look into your eyes,
It's a confirmation that I will make it through any tide,
As long as I have you by my side,
From every corner of your eyes comes a statement of love,
A testament you were the angel sent me from above,
Honey, this is what I see when I look into your eyes,
Always thought eyes were meant only for vision,
Never knew they were also meant for revelations,
Until I met you,
Now I know that eyes do speak-because I found you,
Sweetie, I see a treasure when I look into your eyes,
Because when I'm down, and feel like giving up,
I look into your eyes and I see and hear encouragement,
When the troubles of life nauseate me and I feel like throwing up,
I look into your eyes and I see and receive nourishment,
During my gloomy days, when my light turns to darkness,
I look into your eyes, and a beam of joy floods my life, dissolving the sadness,
I'm so happy I found you,
And now everyday I want to look into your eyes,
For invigoration and strengthening for each new day.

A feeling that assures me we are meant for each other,
An assurance of destiny that tells me we belong together,
