Our lives to this moment has been one of peace and amorous bliss,
And everyday our love is being renewed by the ocean of love,
So every night we part and end our shared moment with a kiss,
And with the break of dawn, the first sight of you reassures me you were sent me from above,
But honey, right now my heart is filled with pain,
It's been so since you told me you had to exit my life's door,
And it feels like the clouds are about to let down a sorrowful rain,

CUPID WAS A COMPANION, VENUS WAS A GUEST II
As we walked down the aisle,
After being in love for a short while,
And as we got on that nuptial sail,
I was sure our union will never fail,
But then as I looked into your eyes,
I couldn't help but ask what happened and how it happened,
And how time went bye,
As I held your hands and felt it's softness,
I felt my heart's stillness,
It was a feeling of satisfaction unprecedented,
And a surge of joy uninhibited,
There was an air all around,
And a feeling of accomplishment in my feet, from the ground,
Then I looked around and sensed the presence of vesta who had just vested upon us a veritable veracious value for the vine of love that now grew all around,
But deep down still lay the question I first posed,
And I still can't fathom why our love was unopposed,
Then I realized that when I embarked on this journey,
With you as my companion and honey,
Cupid was our invisible companion,
And as we partook of the meal of a friendly union,
Venus was our unseen guest,
Hence the reason our love became boundless and limitless...
