With sunrise each morning, it starts up,

LIFE!
What is life?
If it is to be lived in vain,
Without profitable pain,
If it is to be lived in vanity,
Without a certain destiny,
If it is to be lived in disgrace,
Even with the availability of abundant grace,
If it is to be lived purposelessly,
When thousands are lying helplessly,
Of what use are riches,
If they should be used selfishly,
While souls perish in poverty,
If they should be lavished on prostitutes,
While the streets are filled with the destitutes,
If they should be invested in selfish gain,
While the poor suffer in untold pain,
If they should be expended on those who with contempt regard it,
While many grope in stark illiteracy...Think about it!

Deep within lies the seed of greatness,
Not on the hills we lay hold or across the skies we mope,
Deep within lies the warrior's strength,
Not on the arms we rely,
Deep within lies the origin of true love,
Not in the pretense we show,
Deep within lies the art of friendship,
Not in the company we keep,
Deep within lies the essence of beauty,
Not on the artificiality we emphasize,
Indeed deep within lies life's treasures,
Not in the wealth we strive for,
Of a truth deep within lies the purpose of human existence.
Not on the hills we lay hold or across the skies we mope,

MARRIAGE
It transcends the borders of sex, maternity and paternity,
For it is an institution to be regarded with sanctity,
It goes beyond answering to someone's name as a wife,
But refusing to take responsibility when it's challenges confront your life,
It is not limited to weddings and celebrations, no matter how,
But has its threshold on keeping to the marriage vows, no matter how,
It does not terminate in the payment of dowry and bride price,
But in the willingness to pay the price for its benefits and prize, it lies,
It is not determined by making and raisng progeny,
But doing that with a policy to leave a legacy is of utmost exigency,
In all, marriage is not only for two,
Like a dual carriage, or meal for two like a sweet porridge,
But a family vessel carrying all along with it!
