We can about it remain cool,
And for the betterment of the future use it as a tool,
Or for life brood over it, and languish in depression,
Or shove it off and be in continual progression,
Its mistakes,
By heroes past have been used to raise the stakes,
But by cowards have been used as part of excuses,
To remain recluses,
About it, exists a fact,
That for centuries have remained intact;
It can never be rolled into the present,
But as we journey through life, situations crop up to which it is reminiscent,
Then we become well-equipped to make such success-scented,
It can be turned into a success story,
Which breeds glory,
Or a stumbling block,
Which in stagnation, turns us round life's clock...
