It was on a hot summer eve, the sun was just going down;
And the footsteps of dusk were at the door;
I recall my heart fluttered, my ears tingled, and my eyes popped;
For my whole being confirmed you were the one;
And I can still tell what it felt like when we first hugged;
A feeling of warmth filled my skin, and a sense of comfort saturated my mind;
And the night you first kissed me, feels like yesterday;
For I could still feel the softness of your lips against mine;
