BLACK PRIDE; ETERNALLY BLACK III

Our strength is undebated,
Our courage undisputed,
Our brotherhood envied,
But yet our rivalry undenied,
So let us stand together,
No matter the weather,
In a life we have built ourselves,
In a culture we cultivated for ourselves,
'Cos a people divided against itself,
Cannot stand for itself,
So we do not become a laughing stock,
Or put our progress in a lock,
Let us unite and tighten the cords of togetherness,
As we jettison the rods of bitterness,
With which we strike each other,
And hurt one another,
For if we stand as brothers,
By the hatred of the world would we not be bothered,
'Cos in the midst of the hatred we shall illuminate true love,
'Cos together we cannot be scattered,
But apart we are easily shattered,
So let us not be drained,
Neither should we be waned,
'Cos when our stories are told, they shall be written in love and read in affection,
For we ride in a pride we call our own; The Black Pride,
And we live in a skin that is perpetually ours,
So we shall remain, Eternally Black!
