TEACH THE BLACK CHILD!

Teach the black child to be proud of his race, his people and his-story,
Teach the black child that whether he's "white-skinned", blue-skinned or black-skinned;
There is no variation to the skin of his people,
That whether he be partly white or black,
His genesis cannot be half-baked,
So when he asks,
"Who am I",
Tell him he is a proud black child!

Teach the black child that the true value of his life,
Does not lie in the assessment of any life,
But whithin himself-he is what he believes he is,
And can only be what he believes he can,
Teach the black child that there is only one opposition,
To his uprising-himself!
It is not the system,
A system designed for his failure can only make him fail,
If he is designed to fail,
Teach him it is not his society,
A scoiety opposed to his success,
Can only succeed if he chooses to let it,
Teach him it is not the goverment-
Governments don't decide destiny,
The divine does,
Not the system or the society, or the goverment,
But himself!
